This has been one stressfull week. It started out very nicely and everything was proceeding as planned. Bob and I drove down to Phoenix after dropping Bonny off with Julie and Co. while we were gone. We had a great late lunch/early dinner, sat at the pool for a while then went to our room.
Got up early on Tuesday, went to the hospital for Bob's surgery which went well. I stayed at the hospital until 9:00 then went back to the hotel.
Wednesday, I went backto the hospital with the expectation of taking Bob home. I didn't check out of the hotel figuring we could stop by when we were ready to head home. When I get to the hospital he is waiting for physical therapist to come and show him the exercises he is to do once we get home.
He gets out of bed and stands up and starts go get dizzy and becomes clammy. The nurses take his blood pressure and it has drop fairly low. When the doctor comes to see him he informs him that he is not being released do to his blood pressure and he is hooked up to IV. I spend another day sitting at the hospital with Bob.
Thursday, I check out of the hotel and go to the hospital to pick up Bob and take him home. After speaking with him on the phone he said that he is feeling good aside from some paid in his shoulder. He went for a walk and was doing good. When I got to the hospital all seemed a go. We waited for the doctor to come and release him. The RN and CNR checked his blood pressure he was good lying down, OK standing but it dropped 20 points when he stood up. So they put him on fluids and the doctor said if his blood pressure goes up he will release him at 4 over the phone. At 3:30 they took his blood pressure again and it was good for laying down, good for sitting, bu when he stood up it dropped down to 74/?? which canceled him going home. I drove home as I had to check on the cats and get Bonny back for Julie.
Friday, hopefully Bob will come home today. Just spoke with him and he said everything is looking good. I just hope it all stays that way. I will call Dr. Butman and let him know what is happening. I will also call Dr. Alberti's office and let them know what has transpired. Maybe we could have him transferred to the VVMC and his doctors can keep an eye on him.
The upside to all of this is I did get a good bit of knitting down while sitting at the hospital. I restarted both the Diamond Border Shell in the Terracotta as I had traded two skeins of Elle Rae Merino with Gudrun as the 2 of the 5 skein she purchased were totally different in color even if they were from the same die batch. On the Terracotta I'm on row 26 and on the purple which I frogged because the yarn had a very distinct change in color where the yarn had a knot. I undid the knot not expecting there to be a change, but I know it would have bothered me if I let it go. I did get back to row 16.

Another Week
Well another week has come and gone. Had a great time on Saturday at Julie's dinner party. She seems so happy with her new home. This was her second family dinner party. I made dessert, a fresh strawberry pie and a chocolate sponge cake. They made BBQ shredded chicken and chicken breast. Great time with the family.
I've been working on my Princess shawl by Heirloom Knitting. As of tonight I have 10 repeats of the edging completed and am working on my 11th, only 84 more to go.

What a Week
This has been one busy week. Julie finally moved into her new house, she is about 90% moved in. She also had to work 3 days out of the week and moving at the same time was a bit hectic. Spent the entire week with her and/or the boys. It was great spending the time with them, but it was also exhausting.
Thursday we had a dinner party at their new home with her in-laws great fun with the family. But by the time we got home at 9:30/10:00 I was too exhausted to do more than a few stitches of knitting on my LazyLilly or my lace top that I am trying to finish for the second time.
I didn't get meuch time to knit, but I did finally finish my LazyLilly. I will try and block it tonight, but not sure as I'm getting tired. I will also take pictures tomorrow after blocking. It would have been great if I could have taken pictures of it in the snow we had on Saturday, but this morning it is almost all gone. There may still be some patched left by the time a get around to taking pictures of the shawl, but thought it.
I've decided I will work until I finish 15 repeats. Then take a break and work on my lace top which I am trying to complete for the second time. I've comleted one half up to the sleeves. Now working on the second half.

April Fool's Day
It's Been a while since I last posted. It has been another busy year. Helped my daughter start moving into her new house today.
I have also been busy knitting! So far I have completed 5 shawls for my Ravelry 11 shawls for 2011. My lastest finished shawl is one of Moniday Eckert's KAL "Manaus". I made a slight addition to the pattern by adding beads to the edging. I used Regia "Silk" sock yarn and size 7 (4.5 mm) needles.
I have also started another new shawl last night. It is Knitting-Delight pattern LazyLilly. The change I made to this pattern in that I am doing the repeat of the pattern 9 times rather than 7. I have plenty of yarn so I figured I'd make it a bit larger.
Hope to post again a bit sooner that this.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
WOW, it's been a while since I posted anything.
It has been an extremely long year and short year at the same time. Bob has been in for two surgeries in the past few months. One on his right toe to straighten it which required two screws and the other surgery was for a rotator cuff repair on his left shoulder. We will have to go to Glendale in April for his total reversal shoulder replacement in April of 2011. Hopefully this will be the end of it. We are hoping for a very easy going 2011.
I have been busy knitting when not taking care of Bob and the house. Kaden asked me to make sweaters for him, Wyatt and mom and dad. I did 3 out of 4 in time for Christmas. Dad's is just about off the needles. However, since i origianlly made Wyatt's sweater he has grown and it no loner fits him, so I will have to make him another one. Hopefully I will have sufficient yarn left from dad's and make a matching color for him.
At the moment I am working on a beret, part of Christmas KAL from Moni. It will be a match set, beret, mits, and scarf. I purchased sufficient yarn to make 2 one color is wine color and the other is midnight blue. I plan on making 2 one to give to Julie, and one for her sister-in-law. If I have time, I will make a third and give it to Julie's mother-in-law, or possibly as a white elephent gift next christmas.

Great Day
Met with a few of the ladies from the Wednesday group at the LYS. We had a great time talking and knitting not to forget a few laughs. There was oohs and aaahs over the samples of the new yarns coming in over the next 4 months.
After an afternoon of knitting, went to the Kaden's T-Ball game, he was scheduled to hit a home run. This was the last play of the game which we all sat through on this very unusual cold Friday in mid April what the ? is it with this weather is this suppose to be Arizona not Chicago. The entire family went to dinner afterwards, a great time all around. Lots of laughs.
