Bit A Lace

This pattern is now available for purchase. It was worked with the lace pattern first and the stitched for the top and bottom portion of this tank were picked up afterwards.  It is work in the round after this point as the lace is joined using either the Kitchener stitch or using a three needle bind off.  I did mine with the Kitchener stitch.

I also did a crochet edging around the neck and a single crochet finish around the armhole.

I used Queensland Bebe CotSoy in a Plum.  It comes in 4 sizes.

Progress

Well I'm finally making progress on my shell.  I'm almost finished with the top half of the shell. I hope to finish today or tomorrow, time permitting.

As I was finishing the upper edge and attaching the shoulders using the 3 needle bind off I decided to finish off the neckline with a crochet edge. I will post pictures as soon as I finish the edging.

Hump Day

Husband is finally home from hospital.  However, my knitting is not progressive much. I had the entire bottom section and upper section of shell finished, but did not like the way it was looking so I not only frogged the bottom part, but the top part as well. I was almost finished with the entire shell.

Very Long Weekend

Didn't get much knitting done, as i spent most of my weekend in the hospital with my husbands who either suffered another stroke a seizure.  I knitted and frogged the same 14 rows at least 6 times. I finally had to put t he knitting away as i was getting no where literally.

Slow Going

The Progress on my  shell is slow going as I was trying to do 4 sizes at the same time, until this morning a light bulb went on and I realized to do one size and then just for the smaller/larger sizes after i finish ah dah :).

Now that I know this little tidbit I am making better progress, almost finished with the diamond/cable lace panel. I also figure once I'm finished the the diamond/cable pattern the rest of the shell will be a breeze.

New Design

I started a new design today. It will be a shell with a diamond lace center panel which I will on the horizontal. with st. st. above and below. Most of this project is still in the planning stage, in other words in my head.

Bamboozle Shrug

This shrug is worked from cuff to cuff. you start with the left cuff and work the entire shrug until you almost reach desired length of the right sleeve. At this point you place the stitched on a holder and for the lace cuff of the right sleeve. The cuff is then grafted to the shrug.  The lace  around the neck, fronts and lower edging is added by knitting the edging and attaching it to the body every other row.
